THE JOB.
When the exact part number is unknown, start with the equipment, process, function or specification that defines the requirement.
When the part number is unknown
Start with the machine, process or function.
A useful application-based request narrows the problem before anyone tries to match a part. Send the strongest identifiers you have; Dunridge can use them together rather than relying on a visual similarity alone.
Identify the equipment the part belongs to, including the machine type or system where it is used.
Manufacturer, model, series, nameplate information or an existing part reference can materially narrow the search.
Describe what the component does: supports, positions, drives, seals, illuminates, measures, fastens, guides or performs another defined function.
Dimensions, material, voltage, load, thread, tolerance, connection, environment or another requirement that determines whether a part is actually suitable.

No application-specific catalog guides are published yet.
Products can still be found through Departments, manufacturer and part-number search, or a direct sourcing request. Application pages will be added only where Dunridge has enough verified products and technical context to provide a useful browsing path.
